BROOKS Manufacturing Co., founded in 1915, is one of the world's largest manufacturers of distribution cross arms and transmission structure framing material. The company s cross arms and transmission framing components have been installed on utility poles in the United States and other parts of the world. For more than 60 years BROOKS has been designing and manufacturing transmission products for applications including individual components, structure framing kits and complete structures. The company s plant is comprised of more than 100,000-square-feet of building space, eight dry kilns, a planning mill, automatic boring machinery, a state-of-the-art pressure treating facility, testing facility and a yard inventory consisting of 4 to 5 million board-feet of cross arm and framing stock. It is headquartered in Bellingham, Wash.
