Took my 2007 hyundai here a year ago because my fueltank was not working- guy said it was fixed that night coming home my car stalls on the mass pike - why? Because I am out of gas because the problem he said he fixed was not fixed and I am waiting for over an hour at 10:30pm on the side of the mass pike for a tow truck- the tow truck driver suggests I get gas and low and behold that's it - car starts - bring back next day and he fixes the problem again- fast forward to A month ago - same car and the parking sensor goes so that the car does not recognize that it is in park - so I go out one morning to start the car and it won't start - everything works but won't start - I google the problem and it says it's the parking sensor put car in neutral and it will start - which it does - but it is hard to shift to drive and to reverse and park- I mean I have to force it - so because he is close I say let's give him another try at least hefixed the other problem and maybe it was just that once - so he quotes me around $350 or so for the job so I say fine go ahead - get a call 5 hrs later saying no it's going to be $850 more than double the original quote - I am really not happy - second quote is more than double what the original quote was - I fly off the handle which was wrong on my part - wait 20 minutes and calm down and call him back - we discuss and he says he will do it for $660 - so I agree although still not happy - so I pick car up and everything seems fine - drive 15 miles to store - come out go to start the car and it will not start - turns out the battery cable is now loose and won't hold the connection- call and I am livid as this is the second time I have been stranded after this guy said he fixed the problem- lady says ya we knew about thst but didn't want to say anything because you were upset already about the price- was not upset about the price but was upset that what you originally quoted me and what you then quoted was more than double I said - you should have taken your time and quited me correctly from the beginning and you should have made me aware of the battery cable problem the first time but now for the second time in less than a year I am stranded because you people did not do your job- did swear at the lady which I regret but was understandably upset for once again not getting the problem that was diagnosed correct the first time- it should not take 2-3 visits to fix something on your automobile- anyways their mechanic come out to replace the connection to the battery yes free of charge - the mechanic shows and he readily admits it was his fault that he forgot to mention the problem when I showed up to pick up the car- Will never ever go back here again and would tell anyone who asks to never EVER go here - very unprofessional and 2 for 2 with me on not fixing the problem the first time - fast forward to 4 weeks after and the sensor which was never replaced he just replaced a shifting cable is still giving me the same problems and I am going to have to take it to another dealer to get the sensor replaced for another $600 or so - DO NOT BRING THIS GUY YOUR CAR -
I purchased a 2000 Corolla from Executive Auto and was given a 90 day guarantee on the engine. After 1 month I noticed that it was burning oil. Executive inspected it for oil leaks, changed the oil and put in an additive that was designed to help engines that are burning oil. There was no charge. After another week the car was again down a quart. Chad asked me what I wanted to do. He asked me "Do you want me to replace the engine?"--I said yes. They replaced the engine with a used engine from a salvage yard with similar mileage. Chad offered to loan me a car. They had the job done in two days but called to tell me that the replacement engine did not sound right. As it turned out, the engine delivered by the salvage yard was defective. Executive had the salvage yard deliver a second engine which they installed promptly. EXECUTIVE AUTO INSTALLED TWO ENGINES IN MY CAR AND CHARGED ME NOTHING. No labor charge, no shop material charges, nothing.
