My son (21 month old) is at Living Montessori in Bellevue. He absolutely loves it! He’s always happy to be dropped off and I have a hard time getting him to leave each day. I’ve found all of the teachers to be engaging, warm and caring for the children. My son’s teacher is Miss Angela. She has an amazing calm and caring nature with the kids.

My highlights of LMEE are:

• Teachers. Wonderful teachers and staff who REALLY care about each child. A large number of the teachers have degrees in addition to their Montessori training. This sets the teachers apart from what you’d find at most daycares.

• Good nutrition. The school has a nutritionist that is thoughtful about the foods that are given to the children. I love that most of the food is organic and that they have multi-ethnic options.

• Physical activity. In addition to the outdoor play space LMEE also has an indoor gym and an extra play room in the center. I think that this is critical on really bad weather days when they can’t get outside. When touring other centers I really hated the idea that on bad weather days my little guy would be in the same room ALL day. I love that they get exposed to different play areas even on bad days.

• Community. The owner, staff, and parents are all very involved in making the school the best experience for the children that it can be. As a parent you can choice your level of involvement. Regardless, I think that your child really benefits from the actively involved parents and the connection you’ll gain from meeting families with kids of the same age.
