Here's my input: 1. The company does not reply to repeated request for information 2. My friend says she paid big bucks for paltry background information... so I would be very wary of this service. 3. Intelius staff gave me 3 erroneous instructions which each resulted in a $50 charge to my Visa which they did reverse. 4. I refused the freebies they offered out of fear of another mistake. Sleazy company!

Terrible company to do business with. Mislead in their search and returned wrong information. Asked for a refund of the $9.95 and they refuse. Play the game of transferring you around and wasting your time. After not issuing a refund, they state is there anything else I can help you with? What a joke and ripoff. They should be investigated by the attorney general.

This company may well put unauthorized charges on your account. I went online and agreed to pay a one-time fee. The next billing cycle I had been charged for memberships with Intelius related companies amounting to almost $70 per month. I couldn't cancel online because I had no membership numbers and had an extremely difficult time getting them by phone. I am still fighting to get these charges removed.

If you want your credit card number abused, use the Intellius internet web site and buy one of their services with you credit card. You may then find charges on your credit card statement from another company you never heard of in addition to the charge for the service rendered by Intelius. What a shabby way to do business. Ethics?
