Unfortunately I have to tell you we did not have such a good experience when we visited CJD Bellevue yesterday. Although the salesperson, Andrew, seemed friendly, he was also a little pushy from the start in the way that he tried to talk us out of our budget. We showed interest in one car, in which we took a test drive. Then we asked Andrew if he could give us a quote on what he would give for trade-in for our Fort Escort 2000. After he test drove it, he came in and laughed "it does drive". Which was kind of offensive to us, because our car is in good condition.

Then we got an offer of only 200 dollars for our Escort, which is way out of line. We've had several offers from dealers from at least $1200 (trade-in). We told Andrew we wanted to go home to discuss it and think it over. He told us that there was nothing to discuss and that we could just sign. That's where things stopped for us. We told him again that we didn't want to sign anything that evening and he said: I'll give you a minute to discuss, I'll be right back. To make a long story short, for us he was way too pushy. He should have felt that we didn't have a strong interest in the car and that we were just testing our waters (we are in the phase of comparing deals).

Sorry to say that we felt very uncomfortable.

Worst experience ever. Lied to get me to come in. Untold them what I wanted and specifically told them I hated the color red. I was assured my future car was there and a back up just in case I didn't like it. After running my credit, and talking numbers I agreed to come in. I get there and my sales person isn't there. Nor is his backup. But wait it gets better. The car I wanted isn't there. AND nor is the back up. But wait there's more. They have no evidence of ever running my credit or talking numbers. Here is another jem: what color of car do they have in the same model? RED. How can it get better you ask? They talk numbers again which are way off what was earlier discussed. When shown the email with the evidence they say it was an estimate and didn't actually mean anything. And " you will not get a better deal because you are a new (college) graduate (with a bachelor's in nursing) with no credit history. " I have never been so embarrassed or disgusted. Do not go here. Drive the extra hour plus to Olympia is you have to have a dodge.

PS I got a better deal from Toyota.. AND They kept this word on discussed numbers.
