At Coss County Family Practice, we provide continuing and comprehensive pediatric and adult health care, including most preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic services for a wide array of acute and chronic problems. As family physician, we are dedicated to treating the whole person. Unlike other specialties that are limited to a particular organ, disease, age or sex, family medicine integrates care patient information for both genders across the full spectrum of ages within the context of community and advocates for the patient in an increasingly complex health care system. Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted wholly to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. It is the primary division of health care that provides continuing and comprehensive care for the individual and family across all ages, genders, diseases, and parts of the body. Care is based on knowledge of the patient in the context of the family and the community, emphasizing disease prevention and health promotion. The aim of Family Medicine is to provide personal, comprehensive, and continuing care of the individual throughout every stage of life.
