John & Tony got me in quick, fixed a couple of issues on my work truck and got me out sooner than expected. For batteries, tires and relatively simple stuff- there's no one better. Thank y'all.

Classic bait and switch! Got an online quote from "Chris" to replace brake pads and rotors. After dropping off my truck for the repairs, was called by store manager "Joe" that the quote couldn't be honored and the cost would be double. Contacted customer service - they pulled the chat and confirmed the quote amount. They said made a mistake, "leaving a few services off" which drove up the cost. The store wouldn't honor the quote - said it came from customer service, not them! They ALL work for pep boys, just pointing fingers at each other! End result - I picked up my truck still needing repairs. Never again, and I cannot stress enough the lack of integrity and accountability from this company. Stay away!

Slowest place I've ever been. 2 hours and counting on waiting for tires! Definitely going to discount tire next time!

Swung by the Pep boys in Irving a few months back due to my car making noise and they advised I needed new struts.
Took my car in last week (26FEB) to Pep boys in Bedford and told them this and left car to have struts replaced and asked for Serpentine belt to be replaced due to steering making noise. Pep boys advised there were 2 belts so I told them to replace both.

Got a call on the 27h that the car was ready the struts had been replaced. Asked about belts and they said they were not carried over to the work order for the tech so they weren't done. I advised I would leave the car there until that was done.

Got a call the next day and all things were complete/went and paid 841.17 for all work. Drove car off and went back to work...the first dip I hit I noticed the noise was still there...had gotten worse. Took back and left car to have them find out what is wrong.
Called and said it was bushing...they sprayed them with a special lubricant and that I would need to get them replaced along with
Other stuff that they would go over when I got there. Went to pick up car and they advised that the noise was "almost all the way gone" and to come back in a week or so if it was worse and they would regrease the bushings. At this time I was told that I needed to replace the 1/ hard bushings/2/Lower control arms-front/3/sway bars front and rear/4/upper control arm rear/5/and what looks like on the suggested sheet 5/toe bar on rear- ( I don't have a tow bar on car). Advised they would call with an estimate-have never hear back-they would also try and work with me on the cost due to never advised during the strut replacement/or eval. that what was actually making the noise was not the struts at all but the bushings and other thing....or I would have gotten them replaced 1st.

Very upset that car still makes the same noise-though I was advised verbally and via the technician that the noise was not there anymore. I told them from the beginning that it is very loud and noticable when you drive over a speed bump of a dip....and I don't believe that they ever test drove it or they would had heard that the noises are still there. Called twice and never got a call back from manager

Do not go here. They told me one thing on the phone , then added charges, kept changing what they told me and what they told customer service. Overcharged me for a part and labor and then was rude to me. Manager supposedly had everything fixed with customer service and i went to pick up my car and the manager left and did not tell anyone what the corrections were so I could not get my car. I had to walk 5 miles the next day to get my car - they could not pick me up even though people were sitting around. Never want to go back- I do not like being lied to and people sneak in charges.
I feel like they were trying to take advantage of me being an older woman.

The service department is a scam. I took my car in immediately when my check engine light came on. They ran a diagnostic and stated it was a quick fix. The mechanic stated he was "1000%" sure this would fix my car. $600 later, I left and head out for Christmas vacation. About 2.5 hours in to the trip, the same issues occurred and the check engine light came back on. Once I got home, I took the car back. Day 1 when I dropped it off they did not even driver the car. Day 2 of dropping it off they stated it was a completely different issue and wanted another $600-$700. Do not trust this place. There are too many options in the area to risk being robbed by this establishment.

They are ok. Slow service and not a place I will bring my vehicle in for future service.
