      Dr. Moayad has been practicing medicine for 21 years in Bedford, TX. He is dedicated to providing the best possible care for all his patients and committed to transforming their quality of life. Combining the most up-to-date medical research, extensive documentation of patient symptoms, and thorough medical tests, Dr. Moayad has developed a comprehensive protocol for diagnosis and treatment of Lyme disease. His office manager Dianne McGee (since 2000) and Stephanie Arredondo assist him in providing the patients with a competent and caring health care home. Dr. Moayad works extensively with patients who have Lyme disease. Patients travel from many parts of the United States to be treated by Dr. Moayad. He attends the ILADS conference annually and stays abreast of the current developments in diagnosis and treatment of Lyme. Dr. Moayad graduated from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, at University of North Texas Health Science Center, in Fort Worth, and completed his residency training in neurology at the Kansas University Medical Center, in Kansas City, Kansas. Dr. Moayad was Chief Resident during his third and fourth year of residency. Dr. Moayad is a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, the International Lyme & Associated Diseases Society, the Lyme Disease Association, and Physicians for Social Responsibility. Dr. Moayad has been married to his wife, Neda Moayad, for over thirty years. Neda is a professor of Public Health at the University at North Texas Science Center. Dr. Moayad and Neda have two daughters, Mona (26) and May(24). Mona is an attorney practicing at a non-profit in New York City and May, proudly following in her fatherââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s footsteps, is currently attending the same medical school at TCOM, at University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth.
