      I've been using Chimney Doctor for 4 years. They are very professional, do excellent work and are always on time. I will continue using them and would recommend to anyone.

      We had the Chimney Doctor out to our home to clean our chimney and put a cap on it as we had some birds in there in the summer. First thing they said after climbing on the roof is that we don't need our chimney cleaned !! The service guy said everthing looked good and the only thing we needed was a cap. I could'nt belive it. I know we only burn it once in a while but I thought they would run a brush down and charge me the fee?? Nope just charged me for the cap ($115) said they would check it again next year. I will use them again!

      I had my chimney cleaned by th...

      I had my chimney cleaned by the Chimney Doctor and would suggest them to others. Two men came to my house, were very respectful and did a great job. I have had some bad experiences with contractors but these guys were great!

      I have used the Chimney Doctor...

      I have used the Chimney Doctor for all my service needs, including cleaning of my furnace, woodstove, and chimney and have been very satisfied with his work. Everything is done in a first class manner, and when he is done cleaning these very dirty places, everything is cleaned and left in better condition than before he arrived. I would highly recommend the Chimney Doctor to anyone!!

      General Info
      Your home may be susceptible to elements like soot, creosote, leaves and bird nests. Once they catch fire, your home is at risk. Call the Chimney Doctor to eliminate these hazards. Serving the greater Bedford and Somerset area, the Chimney Doctor offers a variety of chimney services including chimney cleaning, chimney sweeping, chimney relining, wood stove servicing and annual maintenance for your chimney/fireplace. The Chimney Doctor handles maintenance of wood-burning fireplaces, too. Our certified sweeps have extensive experience with chimney repair, liners, chimney caps, and chase covers. The Chimney Doctors service includes a full fireplace inspection of the brick crowns, flashing, caps, roof shingles, lining and firebox, and can handle the waterproofing and repair, including smoke guards. Full inspections are available from the top of the fireplace, including the chimney cap, chimney crown, flashing, brickwork. The Chimney Doctors will check for loose roof shingles. Following the cleaning, The Chimney Doctor will do a full inspection of the smoke chamber, damper, firebox, lintel, hearth, and the ash dump door. The Chimney Doctor can also install stainless steel chimney liners. Many masonry chimneys have terra cotta flue tile liner. These liners are very effective as a heat insulator if they experience a chimney fire, but are also very brittle and usually crack when they are exposed to thermal shock.
