Bake Up is devoted to making you the perfect cupcake. Tiffany Poindexter lifelong baker has been creating baking creations. Inspired by her grandmother and mother's delicious baking. Many of our recipes are generations old. With a focus on the finest ingredients like real madagascar vanilla beans, pure cocoa, and sweet cream. We make cupcakes with southern baking flavors like our sweet potato cupcake with a marshmallow cream frosting, to the classic vanilla bean with cream cheese frosting. Bake Up is family-owned,specializing in world famous cupcakes . For years our company has treated every customer like they were a part of our family. We are now compelled to address our customer demand to expand our business. Other companies may offer similar services, but our services are the best, and come with a personal touch.

9/27/12: Cake just OK, frosting, decorations and service were great! Ordered a white heart shaped cake and white buttercream frosting for 15 year anniversary. Cake was very dense, slightly overcooked, so a little bit dry - more like a pound cake than a regular cake. Maybe I ordered incorrectly. However, frosting was excellent and plentiful. Decorations were very whimsical - all I had requested was "15 years", but she added a dress and tux plus a few small notions to the top of the cake. And made the cake with less than 24 hours notice.
I will certainly give them another try, but with something other than white cake. Original rating was 3 stars.
12/1/12: So...I got the chance to give them another try at a friends baby shower, where they had chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting. This time, they were fabulous. Cake was so much better than the first time! Upped my rating from a 3 to a 4.
I have been to this shop on several occassions the staff is very friendly, and the baked goods are delicious!!! If you want that homemade goodness just like your mom makes stop by this modern day dessert boutique. The also serve breakfast and lunch.
Ive been to Bake Up on many occasions, every time i was very satisfied with the cupcakes and sandwiches. my fav cupcake is the "strawberry with cream cheese icing" its to die for. But im so torn between the "Triple berry with lemon glaze" i just cant make up my mind because there so moist and fluffy their like air . now the sandwiches are just so freakin good , I went the first day they start serving breakfast and lunch . At first i went for breakfast and got sausage-egg-cheese i just couldn't get enough so went back for lunch and got a Hot Panini with grilled chicken and american cheese , the chicken was so moist and the panini just melts in your mouth. The serves is great those two ladies are so friendly they just brighten my day . CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I walked into the place it was very clean, decorative and the staff were very friendly in helping me decide what it was I wanted. I ended up going with their cupcakes for a surprise birthday party and everyone at the party talked about how great the icing was and how fresh the cupcakes were. I totally love this place and can't wait to throw a party for "No Reason" just to have the cupcakes again without looking like a STALKER
