Dr. Syiek is an amazing, thorough, caring physician. From the first time I called to schedule an initial appointment to my recent surgery, everything went smoothly and efficiently. Whereas my GP had ignored my concerns and symptoms, Dr. Syiek took everything seriously and ordered a variety of diagnostic tests to determine what my problem was. She was able to give me a concrete diagnosis with a treatment plan within two weeks of me becoming her patient. Her bedside manner is calm and empathetic and I would highly recommend her for anyone facing gynecological issues or symptoms related to menopause or menstrual irregularities.

This was not the clinic for me. I was experiencing severe PMDD and was desperate for a doctor that understood female hormones who would not judge a woman in her late 30's who has not had children and had no plans to either. Instead, I was escorted to the in-house shrink who immediately pushed meds, despite my firm stance against them thanks to a history of problems with them. I reluctantly returned to see the Doctor (the women on the phones are terrific) instead of the PA and was told I had a mood disorder and that I needed to exercise 2 hours every night in order to maintain the organic lifestyle I was trying to keep. I felt condescension and contempt and I would recommend against going to this clinic if you are anything but mainstream, because they will likely tell you that you are crazy. I'd rather see a back alley abortionist than go back to this clinic.

I have been a patient of Bedford Womens Care since it opened and will always remain one because they are caring doctors especially Dr Johnson Dr Syiek and Dr Enegess. I feel lucky to have them care for me and my daughter.
