Founded in 1970, West Patent Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade five. It is a part of the Bedford Central School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. West Patent Elementary School s staff includes classroom and resource teachers, teaching assistants, specialists, and custodial and office personnel. It supports a variety of extracurricular programs in art, instrumental music, band, strings and physical education. In addition, West Patent Elementary School offers the English as a Second Language program. The school also provides physical, occupational and speech therapies and guidance and counseling services to students. West Patent Elementary School is located in Bedford Hills, N.Y.
