When my 14 yr old made the comment I wished I had HOPPED on over to McDonalds instead. Well that would sum up our breakfast this morning. Service was VERY slow and our waitress acted like she was more sleepy than my child was! Our food, all of it was luke warm. My husband ordered hard fried eggs, when it arrived it was a omelette style flat mess. Which in most places would come as scrambled. We have eaten this IHOP 2-3 xs in all the years it's been here and it's always the same. Needless to say if I had wanted a cold breakfast I could have eaten cereal at home and saved myself 36$ so with that said, we will most likely not be going back. So I advise anyone looking to eat a good hot breakfast, especially if your from out of town, save yourself the guesswork and go to the Beckley Omlette Shop a few doors down where there's a smile on their faces when you walk in and your food is hot. It's saddening that this IHOP is directly in a zone for all major traffic coming off the interstate. And the only reason I gave this restaurant 1 star is because my daughter liked her hot Chocolate!

Love this IHOP,the service,variety of food, and discounts.The problem is seating. I was seated in front, the public passed my booth to be seated. they smelled of sweat, cigs,clothes dirty, body parts hanging out with tattoos. This does nothing for my digestion. my fault, for not being picky about seating.

IHOP was a pretty decent restaurant but yes sometimes the service is a little slow. however as a local yokel people there are pretty nice people and it is definitely a good family restaurant

IHOP of Beckley has very adequate food - if it ever gets served. My last wait there after being seated was 67 minutes, after which I finally left, unserved. It has been my impression that most of the employees have a lackadasical attitude, compounded by slow tempo and indifference to customers. Unconscienable. Poorly regimented chain of command. Don't go there unless you want to kill time and have already eaten.
