General Info

William K. Brunell, MD, MPH earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in 1995. He then completed his internship at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis followed by a residency program in Occupational Medicine at Regions Hospital, St. Paul, Minnesota. His residency program included the opportunity to earn a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Brunell is currently board certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine as a specialist in Occupational Medicine. He is a member of the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners, a new requirement in 2014 that allows only certified physicians to perform DOT physical examinations. Dr. Brunell is also certified by the Medical Review Officer Certification Council which qualifies him to participate in the federally mandated DOT Drug Testing Program for all CDL drivers as well as all other federally mandated and non-DOT drug programs. Dr. Brunell has been in full time medical practice for 18 years, the last 10 years of which have been devoted to Occupational Medicine. Medical Certification, but also our unique approach to providing Occupational Medicine services right where you are. Our "medical clinic" is a beautifully renovated 33' Winnebago RV with a reception desk, waiting area, restroom, laboratory and examination room! We are ready to serve you in a local shopping center, at your place of employment, at a gas station or rest stop or anywhere else you see our "clinic" out and about in your neighborhood. This is the most convenient alternative ever offered with which to provide the required medical examination for the millions of professional drivers and others who depend on DOT medical certification to keep them safely and legally on the road.
