As a Registered Investment Advisor, we have a fiduciary responsibility to act only in the best interests of our clients, and we closely align our actions through detailed plans, regular communications and meetings with our clients in fulfillment of that mission. We believe successful wealth management is achieved through trust and open communication between asset manager and client coupled with a careful, methodical risk management strategy. Each partnership begins with a detailed review of the client¿s situation, objectives and investment horizon. OCS will seek to understand your current and future cash flow needs and the assets available to meet them, assess the tax considerations regarding your current and future situation, and explain in detail our investment methodology and how that may help you reach your current and long-term goals. This review leads to the development of a written plan called an Investment Policy Letter (IPL). The Investment Policy Letter updated periodically, serves as the foundation for all investment decisions. Portfolios are created and managed to reach or exceed the investment goals detailed within the IPL. Clients are kept fully informed of the status of investments through monthly reporting, on-going communications and 24/7 private and secure internet access. OCS Investment Philosophy Optimum Capital Strategies LLC believes that strong partnerships with clients and careful management of the risk associated with equity and fixed income investing is the path to long-term prosperity. This belief governs all of our investment actions. In order to best meet each client's needs and goals, OCS believes accounts must be managed individually with constant reference to the client's objectives and current positions. OCS does not use model portfolios in the belief that investing in a model portfolio without regard to the current market is very inefficient, is not the best way to protect client assets and may possibly have significant tax consequences. OCS also believes there is nothing riskier than owning individual equities. However, since equity investments have returned the greatest portfolio growth over time, OCS seeks to participate in this growth but minimize the risk through the use of specific equity and option combinations.
