Blackhawk Intermediate School is an educational institution that offers a variety of learning opportunities for students. It enrolls more than 600 students in grades three through five. The school employs a staff of over 60 professionals and paraprofessionals. Blackhawk Intermediate School has a parent teacher organization that supports a variety of fundraising events. Additionally, its library has a collection of more than 16,000 items, including computer software, fiction and nonfiction books, reference materials, magazines and videos. Blackhawk Intermediate School is a part of the Blackhawk School District, which also operates Blackhawk High School, Highland Middle School, Patterson Primary School and Northwestern Primary School.
