Operational for more than 50 years, Spindletop MHMR Services is one of the leading mental health centers in the United States. Located in Beaumont, Texas, Spindletop serves individuals challenged with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, emotional crisis, and substance abuse problems. The center offers a wide variety of services, such as outpatient and inpatient solutions, adult day care, community-based programs, 24-hour emergency and supervised care, youth services, crisis stabilization units, psychiatric centers, and several residential programs. It also offers individual, group and family counseling, after care solutions, relapse prevention, educational and support groups, dual diagnoses, crisis intervention, and drug and alcohol information seminars. Additionally, Spindletop provides transitional housing, supported living, representative payee services, the mainstream choice voucher program, employment training and recreational services.
