Philip G. Vroom School serves more than 500 students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The school offers instruction in art, physical education, Spanish, technology, and instrumental and vocal music. It provides guidance counseling services. The school offers classes in reading and math. Philip G. Vroom School also provides opportunities to participate in several athletic activities, such as basketball, volleyball and cheerleading. The school operates chess, oyster and computer clubs. It employs a staff of over 70 people. The school organizes science fairs. In addition, it operates a parent-teacher association. Philip G.
