This is a place that is rather tucked away on Broadway and has a small store front. The owner does know his stuff. I know absolutely nothing about wines and he spends the time to go over the different types of wines with me. At one point, I was looking for a specific bourbon that was the preference of my nephew. It ran about $98.00 a bottle. I called every liquor store within 15 miles of where I lived and no one carried it. The only store that I knew carried it was Astor Liquors in NYC. It's THE liquor store in Manhattan with a selection of thousands and their employees are all rather experts in their field. As I was coming to the end of my list, I called Bayonne Liquors and could not believe they carried it. It was in a locked case along with wines in the $200 range. I literally go in every November and buy about 8-10 bottles of liquor or wines to give for X-mas. I previously wrote a review for Hudson Auto (my only auto service repair shop) and each year bring them 2 bottles of wine for x-mas. I completely rely on the owner to pick out each bottle of wine for me. If you want to make sure he has a particular wine (my nephew is a wine enthusiast and knows his wines) call way ahead of when you need it and he will order it for you. Can't recommend enough
