- State Library of Louisiana offers a range of books, magazines, journals, maps, pictures, pamphlets, audiovisual materials, and state and federal government documents. It provides references on a range of disciplines that includes law, business, literature, medicine, fine arts, history, geography, politics, economics and technology. The library also offers study guides for civil service, high school equivalency, college entrance and licensing examinations. It provides children a variety of special events that feature dances, musical concerts and puppetry shows. State Library of Louisiana also offers visually-impaired individuals with cassette tapes, long-play records and Braille books. The library is located in Baton Rouge, La.
