Mayeux Law Firm provides affordable uncontested divorces to clients at $400.00 in attorney fees plus court costs with no additional associated expenses. Court costs can range between $250.00 and $400.00 depending upon the Parish. Additional services such as restraining orders, child support, child custody, spousal support (alimony), paternity, child support increases or decreases, medical support, income assignment orders, use of the family home, day care costs, private school tuition, community property and the child income tax credit, are billed at $100.00 an hour for attorney fees and the client is responsible for all court costs, deposition and subpoena fees, etc. A retainer starting at $1500.00 will be required for these additional services and will depend on the number of issues involved and the number of anticipated court appearances.
