Because of my build, my clothes must be altered to look their best. I started going to Golden Needle about four years ago. I am VERY PLEASED with the service and quality. I agree the tailor can be a bit of a fuss-budget, but I find it endearing the way she orders me around - "Get up, stand up straight, turn around." I think the prices are reasonable, given the cost of women's clothing these days, and the tailoring results are perfection. Highly recommend.

DO NOT GO THERE! The lady who owns the place is rude and mean. She put an ink stain in my shorts with her ink pen right in front of me and didn't even offer to go down on the price. Because she didn't go down on the price for her mistake on my expensive shorts, I asked to take my clothes and take my business elsewhere. When I asked her to have my clothes back BEFORE SHE EVEN HEMS THEM, she said NO. I got on the phone with my lawyer on the spot. She kept claiming I had to pay her because she fitted the clothes on me with safety pins...BUT I BEG TO DIFFER. There was no sign in her business that said I had to pay for consultation/fitting. Every other tailor I go to, I pay for WORK, the actual sewing of the clothing...not safety pinning. I asked her to talk to my lawyer, then she knew I was serious. She went in the back where I saw her violently ripping her safety pins out of my clothing and threw them over the counter to me before slamming the door after I walked out. Fact: there was NO STAIN in my clothing before I walked in her door. Fact: she kept YELLING at me to pay her for safety pinning. Fact: she put an ink stain in my shorts right in front of me. Fact: she would not give me MY PROPERTY back until I got my lawyer on the phone. Fact: she threw my clothes at me. Fact: my beautiful shorts still have a stain in them. SERIOUSLY, DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS BUSINESS!
