Funny thing happen today. January 3, 2022. I received an email from an incident that was happening about 5 years ago. I had given a review about this company Century Building services. Well turns out the owner of this company Mitchell Wood is calling me a liar about what went on when he "tried to repair our flood damaged home". Just like that out of the blue. I am now forced to rehash all this bad drama to defend what happened to my wife and I by this bad experience with this man and his company. He actually claimed that we never paid him any money, but I have proof we gave him 30,000.00 towards fixing our home. The work was seldom and poor in our opinion. We had to fire him, so we could find someone to help us get our home back together. I thought this was behind us, but here it is again. Shame on you Mr. Woods. If you continue with these lies I have alot more to say

Save yourself a HUGE headache and waste of money/time and do NOT hire this company. Specifically the contractor Mitchell Wood. He was hired to redo a home after the August 2016 flood and he made a terrible tragedy even worse! He didn't honor the contract that he drew up, grossly overcharged for services and materials, never had a crew (only 1-3 people who never showed up consistently.) Sent invoices for work/materials that had not been ordered. Jobs on the home were done incorrectly. Electrical work that was done by the person he sent out is currently being completely redone due to the electrical work being done incorrectly (to say the least). PVC pipes inside the wall had nails shot into it when sheetrock was put up, that caused a huge water leak! The list is too long to mention every detail. I hope this is enough to spare anyone else from the same nightmare! Not to mention his confrontational attitude whenever asked or questioned about things! Take a pass, folks.
