      Amber Boutwell, MD, received her bachelor's degree of arts in psychology from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux. Dr. Boutwell earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, West Indies. She completed her psychiatry residency at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge. In her free time, Dr. Boutwell enjoys caring for shelter animals, being active and spending time with family and friends.
