White River Health System provides North Central Arkansas with quality medical services. It is a multi-facility, nonprofit organization that includes two hospitals, ten medical clinics, three nursing homes, a residential care facility, three home health agencies, hospice and a home medical equipment company. White River Medical Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization and is the flagship facility of White River Health System. It is a member of the Premier Alliance and is licensed by the Arkansas Department of Health. In addition to being a full-service medical facility, it has a well-equipped library with the most up-to-date health information. Its medical equipment is state-of-the-art. The center sponsors many help organizations. Appointments for consultations and treatments are scheduled making every effort to accommodate its patients. It has offices in Batesville and Mountain View, Ark.
