      The Batavia City Hall houses community development, fire and police departments. It also operates a youth bureau and public works department. The city hall maintains accounting records and collects accounts receivables. Its administrative services include the development and maintenance of personnel policies and procedures and administer employment agreements with labor unions. It also conducts health care and wellness programs. Its bureau of city assessment is responsible for the administration and valuation of real property assessments, tax exemptions and maintenance of information data base, which includes ownership, land and physical building data. Additionally, the Batavia City Hall conducts programs in the areas of youth empowerment, cultural enrichment, recreation, and education.
