Liberty Healthcare Behavioral Hospital for Child and Adolescents (ages 7-17) is an exceptional outreach in patient care that offers the optimum in-patient psychiatric care for North Louisiana. Our mission is simply to provide the absolute highest quality of child and adolescent behavioral health services with compassion to those who suffer from mental illness or addictive disorders. Treatment goals include reducing fear/anger, learning to identify and understand one's feelings, develop necessary social skills and build self esteem. Our ultimate goal is restoration of the patient back to their highest level of functionality necessary for returning them to their lives. The hospital is a 60 bed state of the art facility in Bastrop, La. The facilitiy is overseen by Board Certified / Board Eligible Psychiatrists. The hospital has a full in-house staff of counselors, nurses, therapists, health information management specialists, mental health technicians, and a variety of other caring allied health professionals.
