Floral Avenue Elementary School is an educational institution located in Bartow, Fla. It enrolls students in kindergarten through grade five who are taught by a staff of more than 70 teachers and paraprofessionals. The school offers classes in several subjects, including math, science, social studies, language arts, reading and writing. It provides basic learning sessions in music, physical education, technology, and arts and crafts. Floral Avenue Elementary School also has a parent-teacher organization that supports various extracurricular and fundraising activities. In addition, it has a media center that houses books of several authors, including Jane O'Connor, Sharon Mathis and Stephen Krensky. The school is a part of the Polk County Public School District.
