Our goal is to plant and establish an independent Baptist church with the following characteristics:INDEPENDENT of any denominational or worldly control, but dependent on the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word as our guide and authority. BIBLE-BELIEVING--believing that the Bible and all its teachings to be true, without error--our only rule of faith and practice. We will strive to lovingly and compassionately "earnestly contend for the faith, once delivered to the saints." BAPTIST in organization--believing and practicing the historic distinctives of those who were called "Baptists", including believer's immersion, individual soul liberty, priesthood of the believer, congregational government EVANGELISTIC in concern--proclaiming to N.E. Mecosta County and throughout the world through missionaries that we support that forgiveness of sin and eternal life in heaven come only through faith in Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior. PURITY--separating from all church or religious groups that reject the foundational truths of the Bible; personal separation from all forms of worldliness. TRADITIONAL in music--not imitaing the sounds of the world; we seek to use music that ministers to our spirits and not only to our emotions; music that is godly in style and helps us worship the Lord in spirit and in truth.
