Washington County Mental Health Services is a private nonprofit corporation located in Barre, Vt. The center offers a wide range of services for adults with mental disorders, children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances and people with developmental disabilities. It provides a variety of inpatient and outpatient services that include individual, group and couples therapy for adults, as well as specialized programs for children and young adults and their families. It also provides case management, rehabilitation and residential programs, 24-hour emergency service, and special programming and residential services. Additionally, the center provides foster care support services that include treatment and out-of-home care for children and youth experiencing a serious emotional disturbance.
