Absolute poor excuse for an auto repair shop they are just out for your money and will do anything to get it. They will lead you on to think they are the best at what they do and that they know exactly what is wrong with your vehicle and then keep saying it's something else after they charge you an outrageous amount for what they thought it was. When they really didn't even fix the problem. They are just money hungry and very unhonest people. I would highly suggest everyone to steer clear of the place.

I took my 96 Ford Explorer in on Monday and told Mr. Cecil that it was slipping when going into 3rd gear. He said he would call me Tuesday morning after diagnosing the problem. He did not call. I called the shop Wednesday afternoon and left a voice mail for Scott Cecil asking him what he had found and would he please call me. He didn't call. I called again Thursday at noon and left another voice mail and he did not return that call either. I went to the shop around 3:30 p.m. and he said that he had run a diagnostic test and that he would have to remove the oil pan to tell anything further since it was not slipping in either 1st or 2nd gear. This test cost me $70.00 and I did not learn anything that I didn't already know. I mentioned the calls I had made and he said he never received them (I wonder where voice mail for Scott Cecil goes?) The girl in the office was offended that I thought their customer service was less than stellar and told me they did not want to work on my car anyway.

My mom took her car to quick care here in Bardstown and they could not figure out what was wrong so they told her they were going to have Cecil Transmission "look at it". Cecil Transmission sure did. Cecil Transmission did not even call my mom when they were finished "looking" and when she called they said that her computer is fried and she owes them $180 and $25 for every day it stays there. She was never called and told that "looking" cost her almost as much as fixing and did I mention that was not even fixing the car. We towed it away! Cecil Transmission also refused to release the car until she paid. DONT TAKE YOURS HERE unless you are ready to be charged without consent!!! I would have not even given them one star but you have to rate them something. I really think Cecil Transmission is the worst i have ever seen and i would not take my worst enemy here!
