General Info

I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Maine in 2000 and have been working in the mental health field ever since. In my work, I focus on developing a caring, accepting, non-judgmental, and safe environment for my clients. I believe that every client has the ability to heal and grow. My orientation is client centered and strength based. I am also certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is a specialized treatment for trauma that is designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories.
