Bangor Parks and Recreation maintains a range of recreational facilities in Bangor, Maine. It manages more than 20 park and play areas, which include an athletic complex, recreation area, stadiums, and a 27-hole championship golf course. The golf course offers a 15-tee public driving range, practice greens, pro shop, restaurant, and group and private lessons. Bangor Parks and Recreation also maintains outdoor municipal swimming pools and fountains in spring and summer seasons. Additionally, it organizes various recreational events that include dances and canoe races. Bangor Parks and Recreation also manages an indoor ice arena that includes spectator seating and locker facilities.
