Understandably, I had reservations for a "special event" evening, New Year's Eve. The tickets for dinner, full bar, dessert, nightclub, breakfast buffet, and valet parking were $150 a piece, so I expected first rate. I was told my dinner seating was at 630, so we arranged to arrive about 615. Drove up and the place looked dead. Drove around for a bit and returned at 630. Still no one could be seen from the street so we called. The valet hadn't arrived yet so we were told we could park on the street (maybe 10 miles away) or we could self park in a garage (for $15). Well our tickets included parking and we wanted parking. Valet finally arrived at about 7 and we were led into the restaurant. Very pretty, modern, and I imagine if there had been customers, quite lively. We were the first there and while we were there we only saw 3 more people eating and no one in the lounge. the food was OK...good, even. Very pretty, very Top Chef. Nothing that I would particularly rave about. NOT for $300!
