Founded in 1852, Union Baptist Church remains committed to sharing the good news of the Gospel, not only by the preaching and teaching of the Word, but by seeking to live the Gospel as a Servant Church, following the spiritual mandate to create the beloved community. Elected to the office of Pastor in February 2007 was The Reverend Dr. Alvin C. Hathaway, Sr., a son of the church, its 10th Pastor.
