I have stayed allot of places BUT the Clarion Hotel Peabody Court is the most accommodating, FRIENDLIEST, the best sleep and to top it all off, the best kept secret in Baltimore. The neighborhood is the greatest. The locals are friendly, and i got a chance to meet the Honorary Mayor of Mount Vernon, Julie. Some of the best eating and drinking establishments the city has to offer. However, if you are going to be there for a spell, talk to Tom, John & Jeanine in Georges, the restaurant in the hotel. The food is WOW but Tom likes to be challenged. Having just met him I was talking about how hard it is to find good catfish in B'more, lake trout is a major staple. By that Friday, I was served FRESH catfish with cheese grits, green beans an cornbread. have never had a restaurant manager surprise me with a dish I was just making conversation over. My work has me in B'more two weeks out of every month through August and I can stay pretty much where I want. Me you will find at the Peabody Court
