Kolmac Clinic provides outpatient rehabilitation programs for individuals with alcohol and substance abuse problems. One of its branches is located in Baltimore, Maryland. The clinic provides a three-phase drug/alcohol addiction treatment program: The first phase is detoxification from drug and/or alcohol after which the individual is monitored for about 10 hours a day. Next is the rehabilitation phase where the patient is expected to attend a group therapy of about three hours, five times a week; the frequency is gradually reduced. Typically 20 to 30 rehab sessions are given for an individual. The final phase is the continuing care phase where group therapy session is conducted once in a week focusing on specific issues.
