ChemPacific Corporation is a producer of fine and custom chemicals. The company is headquartered in Baltimore, where it carries out research and development, and small-scale manufacturing. ChemPacific has a fully owned subsidiary in China, ChemPacific-Hangzhou, and a partnering agreement with Zhejiang Lanxi ChemPacific chemical company in China. These contacts provide the company with large-scale production capabilities. ChemPacific was founded in 1995 by a group of scientists experienced in the discovery of new chemical entities and development of drug products in the U.S. pharmaceutical industry. With special competence in the areas of chiral synthesis and amino acid chemistry, ChemPacific is sought out by the pharmaceutical and chemical industries as a source of high quality intermediates for drug development and finished products for commercial sale.
