When we met to bid the glass work I advised her not to put window film on the new glass for several reasons. She did not want to hear the reasons. When the 1st unit seal failed the tinting company that put the film on paid for the install and materials. To make it convenient for the homeowner we took the glass to the tinting company before installing the glass in her home. When the 2nd unit failed, the tinting company called the homeowner and told her that our seals are the problem. She believed the window tint company. Look at any window manufacturer's warranty and window film voids it. We offered to replace the glass at our cost. She started screaming and threatening. We have been in the window and door business for 29 years. We honor our warranties.
