Paradise Elementary emphasizes the academic, social and physical development of students in pre-kindergarten through grade six. It provides physical education classes and administers the Title I program. The school operates a library that offers an accelerated reader program. Paradise Elementary provides special education sessions to students with learning disabilities, as well as manages a cafeteria. It operates a parents club and computer laboratory. The school is a part of Rapid Parish Schools, which manages business and personnel departments. The district s schools offer various sports activities, such as football, cross-country, tennis, basketball and baseball. Rapid Parish Schools also governs Alexandria Senior High School and Glenmora High School.
