- Staying at the Red Moose Lodge gives you access to a peaceful scenic river setting. A firepit, picnic table and barbecue grills are situated right on the river bank. Each room includes Air conditioning, Cable TV and VCR, coffeemaker and wader hangers. Guests of the lodge can also take advantage of our Lodge Center which provides a complimentary continental breakfast, telephone (with free local and long distance-United States only-calls), fly tying desk and assorted books and videos

The Red Moose Lodge provides a unique setting on the banks of the Pere Marquette River, a river nationally known for its' scenic beauty and year-round fishing opportunities. Its' spacious rooms provide the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the many activities that Michigan can provide. Situated at the headwaters of the fly-only section of the Pere Marquette River, it affords convenience and comfort unique to the area and is a wonderful place to begin your relaxation. Walk from your room and step into the river to sample salmon, steelhead or the year-round trout fishing. Canoeing, golfing, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, or watching the sunset over Lake Michigan, all can be enjoyed within a short drive from the lodge.

The rooms are clean, remodeled, and right on the Pere Marquette River. The contental breakfest and hot tub are great. The free Wifi allowed me to keep up with the world and allowed me to fish a extra day. The guide service and gear was top noch. What a bueatiful river and Clint the guide was excellent I wish I could post the pictures. His lunch on the river would rivial some of the best restraunts and the location from which it was served couldn't be beat. Truely the best Baldwin has to offer. Try them you won't be dissapointed.
