I went to buy me a western hat but I guess they were to busy to help me one employee was helping customers and the other was playing on his iPhone. I was waiting for someone to help me but that didn’t happen I was willing to spend over a hundred dollars for a hat. I went somewhere else. Thanks for nothing.
This place is great for western wear. Big selection of boots, jeans, shirts, hats and other clothing and accessories. They even custom shaped my new hat for me! The service was excellent, friendly, knowledgeable staff. I definitely will go back.
Excellent customer service!! Prior to taking my neighbor (who had just moved to Bakersfield from Texas) into the Emporium, he and I went to a retail chain to use his gift card on some boots. After two different employees at the chain store said that they had never heard of the LUCHESE brand and one added that he couldnt believe he was working in a "sh^t-kick#R store with these "hicks coming in trying to dress", we gave the gift card to a person in line. 10 minutes later we were parked near "THE BIG RED BOOT". The Emporium employees greeted us and found everything my neighbor needed. They also had no problem calling in a special apparel order and basically treated us like old friends. Patient, kind, attentive and knowledgeable. Those qualities coupled with the fact that Emporium Western the kind of place that embodies the 5 star rating status.
