Bethany Christian School is a college-preparatory academic institution located in Baker, La. It offers courses in English, mathematics, social studies, performing arts and science and is certified by the International Christian Accrediting Association. The school, established in 1975, serves more than 450 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. Bethany Christian School also conducts French and Spanish language classes. It additionally offers elective courses in computer science and journalism. The school uses A Beka curriculum to teach science and social studies to its elementary students. Its social studies classes offer information on American history and world geography. Bethany Christian School also organizes parent-teacher conferences and athletic events.
