I recently had a vehicle breakdown on highway 285. I called AAA for a tow to a garage and they recommended Marcy's. It was close to closing time and Brian took me right away as I would of been stranded. He was even going to take me back to pick up my family and my travel trailer with his truck, which were left on the side of the road as it couldn't be towed at that time along with the truck. They were going to let me stay on their property overnight if necessary. What I thought was a fuel pump issue turned out to be my diesel lost its prime. Brian explained to me what to do in case it happened again. The charge? NOTHING!!!! I thought there would be some diagnostic charges but Brian knew right away what it was. Even did extras like check the filters and check for leaks. He told me he didn't fix anything so he wasn't going to charge even though he checked it out. I was figuring small town, stranded tourist=price gouge, WRONG!! Thanks Marcy's automotive. They also USMC/NAVY VETS

I highly recommend going to Marcy's Automotive in Bailey. I had my Volvo in there and the prices were much less than going to the dealer, I didn't have to go to town and sit for hours, I dropped off my vehicle the night before and it was ready when they said it would be. They called me & even picked me up when it was ready. Thank you.
Talk about price gouging! Charged $100 just to look at vehicle then came back with an estimate that was almost $200 higher than the dealership. Hello... than the dealership which isn't a discount business to start with. I priced the parts myself and found much less expensive ones and verified the current dealer shop labor rate and Marcy's was either grossly overcharging their parts or their labor (or both). They may actually do good work but I found their estimate and charges ridiculous. As for the positive reviews I can only guess that perhaps these people never questioned the cost or just had plenty of money to throw at their cars. In any case, you'd be better off shopping your repair around before using this place.
I've been using Marcy's for over 15 years. Started with Ed Marcy on Hwy 73. But when Brian open the shop by Bailey, I've taken all my auto maintenance to him. The same great service as Ed'sI'd recommend both locations to anyone.RB Pine, CO
