It's always stressful trying to find a good and honest mechanic. Thank God for the internet, at least there is someplace to start. I tried Ernie based on his reviews and was not disappointed. He did excellent work replacing a rusted on exhaust manifold on my Ford F150, not an easy job. He worked quickly and charged reasonably. He found a bunch of other stuff that needed attention, but didn't push to fix it. Just brought it to my attention and let me decide. Some I will address on my own, the bigger stuff like replacing my brake lines I will definitely be bringing the truck back to Ernie to do. You could do a whole lot worse than Central Ave Auto Repair. I highly recommend and don't think you could come away with any different of an impression.

Really good honest work. They excel at diagnosing problems and then fixing the right problem. I've been burned by dealers replacing expensive parts on the off chance that it will fix my problem. Central Ave Auto has found and fixed things that the dealer was clueless about.
