I had a pipe burst during that below 0 weather and Chris #3041 came out and within an hour had us back to normal. He added a turn off switch to that line so that if this happens again next time we will only have to turn that line off instead of the whole house being without water. He was very professional and he knew exactly what he needed to do. Thank you Roto Rooter for hiring such a professional.

When the technician came out he was prompt. He was friendly and courteous. He diagnosed problem and explained and showed me exactly what was going on and how he had to fix it. After completing work he again showed me what he had done and cleaned up everything. I was could not have been happier with this service that was received.

Technician Ben Number827 was polite and seem to be very knowledgeable and very determined to fix problem. I would have gave 5 stars but I thought the price excessive.

We have used Roto-Rooter a few times over 35+ years. Ted, #1700, persevered with a stubborn floor drain that finally started draining as it should. After opening our floor drain he cleaned up afterwards to our satisfaction. We have always had good service from Roto-Rooter.

STAY AWAY: I called them to find out why my unfinished basement smells bad and also to determine if there is any clogs in the main... They came in , put a camera in main and that was supposed to "run from basement to all the way to the sewer line." per the technician. After 30 mins, I was told we are actually connected to septic. That cost me $250. The technician spent almost 2 hours to find where my septic was. They offered another camera check service for other restroom, dye testing, another $220. They called their so-called supervisor. Of course, this is a show. They spend the entire day at your home, look busy, call supervisors, give you impression they are there for you. Keep charging right and left. The whole 6-hour long $500 work was pointless and for no reason. A dye testing for $220!!!!! At the end of the day, they put a cover on my drain for $50 without even asking me. Since I was not at home, they took advantage of my wife not knowing what I was not informed about. Today, I called them about the outcome, after 2 days not hearing back about a solution. They won't call you because they got their daily need of $550!!!! Now they are asking for $2800 to dig. REALLY? That is the cost for replacing a septic and remember, this is still diagnosis.

They were courteous and got right to work. They identified the problem as a collapsed line, showed it to us on the camera and gave us a fair priced estimate. After agreeing to have the work done, they brought in the equipment and fixed it all that day! They had to replace 20' of a collapsed sewer line next to and under the driveway. They also had to deal with starting this project by accessing my dirt floor crawlspace that is only about 3 foot high and was obviously filled with some of the sewer contents from the backup. They did excellent work, and on very short notice. If needed I will not hesitate to use them again. I would recommend them to anyone!

My sink drain was clogged and I couldn't use my dishwasher beaucase it was causing the sink to fill up. I ended up calling Roto Rooters because when I looked in the yellowpages it was the only plumbing company i saw that was listed with the Better Business Bureau. It was Saturday so I was worried that I might not be able to get someone to come over quickly. The dispatcher at Roto Rooter informed me that a plumber could be at my house with an hour. I was suprised when Dan showed up to my house 30 minutes later. Apparently, he livedin Westlake Ohio as well. Dan intially suspected that he would have to snake the pipes in order to resolve my issue. However, once opening the P-trap he gave me the good news that he wouldn't need to snake the pipes which saved me a lot of money. I was prepared to pay more to resolve the issue and I'm glad Dan was an honest plumber and didn't mislead me and saved me money. I feel confident in recommending Roto-rooter for honest and professional plumbing service.
