For being a place with world class service, I will never bring my animals to this place again. Everything is overpriced considering the very low quality of the work. I boarded my dog there for 3 days recently. I had brought my dog in in perfect health. When I returned to pick up my dog, he had developed kennel cough while under their care. They had no explanation for his condition yet charged me for treatment. I wasn't given any aftercare instructions for the kennel cough just a bill. DO NOT GO HERE. Terrible service, rude staff, very unprofessional. Too bad I cannot give a zero star rating.

I did my homework and found a vet that specializes in birds to take care of my cockatoo i already had a vet for my real children my mastiffs, but ended up taking them to dr krupka due to his vast knowledge of the breed and how well i connected with him,,, i have worked with vets before and am a vet tech but dr krupka is soo sweet and personable,,, as some of the other reviewers have said they are a lil expensive but for the care of my babies i will pay the extra to know my vet is going to take care of them well,, some of the staff isnt as personable as others however i have always had a good experiance with even the staff,,, i would never take my dogs anywhere else i LOVE doc krupka he even says hello when he sees you out in the community,, he even knows who you are LOVE LOVE LOVE dr krupka

I will not take my pets anywhere else.

The staff at the avon animal clinic are compassionate and know what they are doing! My dogs can't wait to get in the door!! And don't want to leave.

My choc. lab was diabetic x4+ years--thanks to the vets and staff. (my other lab only lasted 1 yr w/ diabetes w/ another vet) I couldn't have done it without them.

Also when my lab lost her battle, the staff was wonderful to work with. They knew I was devastated and did not make me feel like she was "just a dog" like another vet in Lorain.

I drive over 4 hours just to see Dr. Krupka for my kids for regular visits. He is just that good. I would obviously take them somplace closer for an emergency. When my ferrets were ill they ended up in little incubators with IVs, and little heart monitors, Dr. Frank called me twice a day, he even came in on his days off to check on my boys and call me. I was allowed to go into the back and see them, and they even worked out a great payment plan for me. The staff is exceptional, they hug you all the time and give you tissues when you need to cry. They really love animals and care for people's pets like they are your children - because hey, they are. I'd like to say they are all friends at the Avon Lake Animal Clinic, and I love each and every one of them, especially Doc Frank for all he has done to try and help my babies. He has never once ever mentioned euthanasia in my 10 years of going there - he will try everything in his and the combined staffs power to avoid it.
