Avon High School operates under the Avon Community School Corporation. The school operates various departments that include art, business, family and consumer science, language arts, math, music, physical education, science, social studies and technology. It offers instruction in subjects, including English, foreign languages, technology education, mathematics, theater arts, and health and physical education. The school has a fully equipped media center that offers free access to a variety of study materials that meet the educational curriculum and recreational reading needs of students. It also offers guidance and individual and group counseling services for students. Located in Avon, Ind., the school enrolls more than 1,500mstudenst in grades nine through 12.
