While vacationing in Avon CO, the "check engine" light turned-on on our 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe. Seeking a full service mechanic to assess the problem, we perchance stopped at VAIL DISCOUNT TIRE in Eaglevail (not related to the Discount Tire national franchise). Greeted by afriendly staffer, I asked if they knew a mechanic where the warning light could be evaluated. The staff stated they had the required diagnostic tool and the shop owner would be happy to check it out for us, FOR FREE! The owner checked out the warning, told us we had nothing to worry about (light when on due to high altitude driving), re-set the light and sent us on our way to enjoy a worry free week in CO.

I just read the one star review and was appalled. I have been going to vail discount tire for over 16years and have NEVER had an issue! Bill, is amazing, gives excellent customer service and will even stay late if need be. I've NEVER felt anything but honesty and integrity from this establishment. I will admit to trying other establishments, but have always gone back to vail discount because I actually TRUST them!
