I have been taking my pets there for 20 yrs. the dr's use to be very good but they have changed so many times I don't know anymore. I know my pets and refused blood work a few times because I knew it would be negative. the dr really was upset and made a note of saying owner refused. the cost is rising higher and higher for office visit. I think im going to find another vet

I have been taking my animals to St. George's vet hospital for years. I have always had a great experience with them until now. Not one person can explain to me why all of a sudden their policy has changed and blood work has to be done every 3-6 months instead of yearly like the previous 4 years. My dog has seizures and is on medication for it. For the past multiple years an annual blood work checkup has been mandatory to continue meds. She completed a full blood work at the end of January and now to my surprise my pharmacy contacts me to tell me that the vet refuses to refill her meds. When I called on the phone and talked to more than 2 people not one of them can explain why. I am very annoyed that 1 my pharmacy had to be the one to contact me ( I would think if this was state rules the vet would have the proper decency to contact me directly, since they didn't I feel this is just what they feel like doing) and 2 not one person in there knows why it has changed. I am very angry that it has come to me finding another vet after many years of going there. As I still wait for a doctor to call me back ( to get another run around response) I have already made an appointment at another vet to have my dog taken care of!

My poor dog had undergone 4 hematoma operations, each time the sutures were left in his ears. Thousands of dollars later, I finally took Benji to another hospital where they found, once again 3 stitches were left in which got infected. He needed immediate surgery to remove them. 3 out of 4 times he was covered in feces and not 1 employee helped me to clean him, the place reeks of animal poo, the waiting room is smaller than my closet & the lack of professionalism is deplorable. The employees never smile & most of the Doctors don't even care. After taking Benji to a new place, I already see a change, he is no longer scared. First appointment & immediately took him for surgery, due to the stitches that were left in & infection. The new place I go is bigger (including parking), cleaner, cheaper & more professional than the people at St Georges, the ear flush & meds were even wrong for my baby. Even with an appointment plan on waiting hours to be seen. I would not recommend this place.

Bought in my cat and the first words were "cancer". Recommended ruling if out by new x-ray machine and several views (over $400!!!!) It showed blockage from the old x ray machine picture, but still did all this bloodwork (because of the blockage they really couldnt tell if it was correct). They recommended and enema. Brought back the next week and had bloodwork done again and it showed liver damage and was sent home with some liquid for him. (total cost so far over $800) 2 months later I brought him to another vet who looked at the inside of the ears and below the eyelids and with in 30 seconds he knew he had liver damage (I told him NOTHING of the visits to St George Vet Hosp). He did do bloodwork and checked out everything else. My cat was dying and nothing western medicine could do, BUT! he concocted a recipe of herbs and vitamins (total cost for appt - $50) and it's now 4 months later and he has gained weight and is back to being himself. Oh! NO cancer!

The staff here are very professional, caring and pet friendly they were able to nurse my cat right back to great health and the doctor even called to check on her to make sure she was getting well. I will not take her any where else. Thanks

Been going to this clinic for the last 4 years because of the location not because of the skill nor the customer service provided. I have taken my dogs there on more than 2 or 3 visits for ear infections. Then after exam no sign infection looks good. I ask for swab and microscopic analysis. With every case a positive for either bacterial or yeast. Had I not insisted no finding my dog suffers misdiagnosis and continued pain and suffering. I know my animals!! I even took my female dog to clinic for cont bleeding after a litter of pups. My male is triggering for blood smell. She is lethargic Diagnosis of looks fine! I insisted test with q-tip 4vaginal smear. BRIGHT RED BLOOD covered swab!! My dog bleeding death everything looks "Fine" Now my male in last stage heart failure respiratory distress I was refused an xray didnt have time in schedule!! Another dog a "work in" hurt back from jumping out chair gets XRAY before I even LEAVE! Pity the animals owners who dont have medical exp!!

I was so unsure where to get the best service for my cat. Previous reviews about Best Vet, Inc. and a personal recommendation led me to Dr. Armstrong. They took me right in, filled out the paperwork for me (as my hands were full) and soon moved me to an exam room. Dr. Armstrong came in for the exam within 5 mintues. I had a diagnosis, meds, and a very reasonable bill all within 30 minutes. The staff was very friendly and genuinely compassionate about my cat's well being. I will definitely go back!!!!!

Dr. Falcon is one of the most personable, and knowledgeable vets I have met. He takes the time to get to know you and your pet and then shares actively about the health of your pet. I am very concerned about preventative care so I discuss it regularly with Dr. Falcon or one of his staff and I have never been made to feel stupid or unimportant.
